December 1st?
December 1st = my birthday :p:
I'd say start after October half term with general reading over, and heavier revision in the preceeding two weeks.

o0o

What?! These are mocks, they don't need that kinda revision :wtf?:

Start now. :p:

A little bit of revision during half-term certainly wouldn't hurt + all you need is one week of revision at the most, you can go through the majority of the course fairly quickly.

As mocks aren't the real thing (obviously :p: ), you need not go overboard with your revision (unless some of the mocks count towards the real thing, e.g. Art exams, Music performing etc). My mocks were the beginning of December as well and I started about 2-3 weeks beforehand but did alright.

I hadn't even considered this yet (:p:) but I would say that the October half term holidays would be a good place to start. If your situation is anything like mine, at the moment your teachers are mainly focusing on you getting coursework done, so there isn't a great deal of time to think about the exams. It isn't ever too early too start though; granted you're not going to forget it before the exams come around.

Ours start on November 20th, aughh..

Personally I'd say don't revise at all, it provides a baseline and an absolute minimum grade you could get. Of course that doesn't work for everyone...
Don't start now! Personally, I didn't revise at all, just so I could know the worst I could do... but say a week or so before if you really feel the need.

Well since they are only a few months after the start of the year, all the info should be fresh in your mind and therefore you should only need a couple of weeks revision. It depends on the person though, just go over things you're not sure of and you will be fine (they're not in any way significant to anything, so if you get all Es, it won't matter!).
It depends when you feel you need to really because everyone is different, but I'd say using the October half term to make sure you have all your notes etc in order would be a good idea and then you can start revising properly a few weeks before the exams.

I agree, but remember these are mocks so its to good to hear your revising as when it comes to the real thing it will become second nature, but then again don't go mad you still have coursework presumeably to finish off, set your prioties? right.
Better mock grades = better predicted grades

Make sure you understand all your work.

then start revision like a week or two before the exams.

It's also easier revising for the real exams if you've done proper revision for the mocks because you should find you remember most of it, or at least that it comes back to you very quickly.

:ditto: And when you start practice papers, you can perform well in them from the start, and set more realistic targets/objectives, based on your strength/weaknesses.
If we get bad mock grades we could end up moving down in sets in subjects such as Maths and if we want to do triple sciences we need B minumum or something like that, so im personally starting revision in October half term and depending on what grades you are aiming for, i would reccommend you to do the same:smile:
Yeah, that does sound a good idea on your situation, there are things which require hefty revision (like my Ad Maths thing). Around the start of the next half term does sound to me sensible.
Hmm, I still don't see the point in revising for anything which isn't important... and surely you won't get moved down unless you do really badly? And if you know you are going to do really without revision, revise. If you will do ok (enough not to get moved down), don't; you can really surprise all your teachers on results day :p:
