Omg! Why did they send this? What sort of things does it ask you about?

I guess this is in response to handing in the CAF to begin with?

i dont know what to write for "Is there anything else not already on your application that you would like us to know?"

Apparently not all colleges use this form...do you know if Selwyn does - have you received one? I'm also applying there.

Oooh, ooh, same for Clare? I really hope they don't.

*sighs*

But what if you really don't have anything more to say? Mine's going to be so repetitive.

Ugh...

Is it on paper? Or have you been given a link to it or something? As in, is it handwritten or can you type it?

Reply 11

I know Clare does - my friend got a copy from them yesterday.

Its not that bad but i think they would use your answers to this questionaire to shape your interview. It asks you what are the main topic areas youve covered in your A-level subjects so if you said say electoral reform i guess they might ask you a question about it in your interview to see if you think clearly and concisely.

You could type in your answers as its a word document but your meant to post it to them so im just gonna print it off and write on it. I applied for Fitzwilliams and i dont know if other colleges will send it to you (vie email).

I dont think i can take much more form filling

does anyone know what to write for:

3.1 Please briefly outline the MAIN areas/topics you have already covered in each of your AS/A level or equivalent subjects:

Do i need to write topics I studied at AS as well? And how briefly do i put the topics?

I just put roughly the main topic of each module, eg my history ones were the rise of National Socialism in Germany to 1933, the rise of fascism in Italy 1918-25 and so on. It's asking for areas/topics you've already covered at AS and A2, so all your AS modules and any A2 modules you've already started.

I got this form as well. Nearly done with it, I dont just want to write "no" for the 'anything else I want them to know' question as it sounds abit negative. Hoping to send it back in the next few days. Then hopefully im done with forms

Looks like I spoke too soon

God, i'm post A2 on a gap year, can't even remember the stuff i did way back at the start of AS. Looks like i'll have some revision to do...

I am as well. It's alright for people just starting A2 to put the AS topics, but I don't see much point for us to since we've covered the same amount of material more recently... A2. I've just put those topics down.

I think i'll do the same then. I'm just hoping that in the interview i can lead them into areas i know a lot about, rather than one of the AS/A2 modules that really didn't interest me. Hopefully they'll focus more on the essay i'm sending them...
