Big Head

I am a male, 15 years old. Guess what, I have a big head compared to my body. People in school always take the **** out of me, and I'm an asian that goes to a school with majority of white people. So that makes me stand out even more!

What can I do, I'm fairly tall, so really my head is kind of in size with my body. People always take the mick, it's just making me so angry at times.

Don't take it so seriously. It's all part of growing up. But if they keep going on and on about it, it's obviously going too far so tell your headteacher, family, friends or whoever you trust.

i have a big forehead, and people at school used to slap it all the time. they stopped after i started slapping them back, although it did knock my confidence. but it's all cool now, when people grow up so does their behaviour. (mostly)

Remember you are still developing, I used to have unusually large ears compared to the size of my head - now everything has aclimatised and looks normal - give it time, you'll be fine.

With regards to the people taking the michael out of you, ignore them - they are insecure and inadequate souls with nothing better to do.

You'll be fine.

What do you expect people to say 'Oooh I've had that before, see a GP or take some head reducing pills' Seriously, what can you do? Born that way I'm afraid. Just ignore people who make fun out of it, laugh it off. A Boy in my old school has a huuuge head 'James Big Head' But he just laughed it off and people respected him for that so give it a try :smile:

Grow hair lol! I have a big head (sort of) but my hair covers it. If i shaved my head i would have a upside-down pear shaped head.

my life was made a living hell throughout school because i have a high forehead... still now i'm very conscious of it. i even considered hairline surgery at one point as it got so bad. all i can say is, if/when you go to college or uni the people are a lot less judgemental as far as looks are concerned... it seems the bullying-types usually drop out after gcses and fail at life :rolleyes:

... or pregnant (females obviously)! i hate admit this, but i revel in it when i see them in town pushing prams with their squad of 50 kids, collecting their dole money at the post office, and looking thoroughly miserable.

seriously, these people don't matter once you get to uni or wherever. you'll see them in the street and they'll give you an apologetic smile for the way they treated you. and you'll pity them and wonder why you even cared what they said in the first place!

yeh yeh, i know it's easy for me to say because i'm finished school. i'm just so glad that chapter of my life is over with.

I disagree about the bullies not existing in University. I know quite a lot of people who are stuck up ***** in my college and are going to Uni. I find it hard not to believe there are shallow people there, it won't be heaven.

TSR (and the higher education world inparticular) is a heaven for the geeks, ect. Its hell for the bullies. :rolleyes:

but these smart assed in the end, end up with nice cars, smooth ladies and all teh money, while the bullies become pimps and/or fathers at aged 16+. hehe,
