No-one can really answer that because we don't know you or the man. It could be anything from him having a girlfriend to being shy, or whatever.

Well I know that he is single and far from shy (though 'tis questionable at times). As for me....I don't know what to say erm I've known him since I was 16 but am now 20! Only recently we got in touch again. We talk on IM now and then. We flirt shamelessly a lot of the time. I got the impression that things were going well. Sorry i I left things out...was just a bit upset

I don't understand a male mind either hehe and i'm male, but usually when they say they don't do relationships, usually means they only want casual.

tbh I thought he meant the formality of a 'date'.... I don't like the whole formal date thing either.... Just hanging out's cool...

You got turned down for a date, its not the end of the world. There will be other guys, sounds like hes just after sex though so looks like you got off with your intergrity still intact.
