Im a white British guy but the only people I make friends with at college tend to be of a different race or religion, maybe because these tend to be more open minded than English people I don't know. Ive always found it hard to make friends and my family know this, I was telling my mum about a story my friend had said and she said 'why can't you make friends with normal English guys'. I just replied does it matter, but the truth is I find it hard to make friends yet those of a different race will accept me, how come?
Dunno, in my experience white people are generally as friendly as anyone else, theres only one ethnicity I haven't got any friends in or have got on with generally.
And I'm not saying which, don't wanna get flamed lol
I have a similar problem, I've loads of friends from different races/backgrounds/religions but can't seem to make friends with Black people; And am Black!!! Am i weird
generally i found english guys are interested in drinking 24/7 so if you're not into that, then there's your 'problem'. Although i think its nice that you have different friends from different cultures, its not a problem and i wouldnt see it that way..
