I was searching for it today and yesterday at the Fresher's Fair but couldn't see it. I heard there was one, does anybody know if there is, or are a member of it?

I saw it! It was near the Barclays table today in the Great Hall .... if that was the first room everyone got directed into
If you go on the Lancaster website, you might be able to register for societies on there, that's how I joined the English Language and Linguistics Society coz I didn't see that one at Fresher's Fair either. A poker society sounds really cool, I like poker so may join
You pay £10. You get 3000 chips. Blinds start at 50/100. They go up when the guy decides its time (every 20-30 mins or so).
I would say i'm a good player but I definitely got lucky on some occasions. I suckered some guys out on the river a few times when I was all in, but hey, that's poker!
There's also a poker society, the real subject of this thread. Anyway, I realised I was in for a tough time when I went last week and the other people on my table were having a debate over the percentage chance of the hand AK winning against 10, 10 "53%" "no it's 57%" lol.....
