Should I Just Give Up?

Hi, well I used to talk to this lad a lot and I really like him (And I mean REALLY) But now he wont talk to me properly. If I ask him he says he's still talking to me and he does for the rest of that conversation but then when I try talking to him again a different day he wont reply until I ask him whether he's speaking to me or not and it carries on in that cycle. Now I'm wondering, should I just give up trying to get him to talk and forget about him? It's really getting me down now because we used to be such good friends :frown:

Dont keep asking him if he;s talking to you or not, I HATE that on msn, if i dont reply within 30 seconds girls instantly assume im ignoring them.. Maybe i wasnt at my pc? or maybe i was busy? or maybe i just wasnt in the mood to talk?

keep asking if im ignoring you and i actually will ignore you.

if he's like that, just ask him why he does what he does?
if you can't find the heart to do that, i wouldn't say forget him, but move on.
no point in liking someone who can't actually care to have a decent convo with you.
