Can't find my NI number, and I have an interview at Tesco today

Now you're probably wondering why I didn't look for my number before hand but I only got the call about the interview last night, and never recieved an email about it. I can't find the document ( and for some unknown reason I didn't think to write the number down). The lady said to bring my Passport, which I have, and my NI number. I rang up and asked for HM to send me a new letter with my number on it and they said it will be here within 7 days. I applied online for the job and put in my NI number then, so they must know of it anyway..
I'm just wondering if it will be okay to take my letter into them when it arrives, or if I have absolutely no hope of getting the job now :frown:

Of course!

They don't need your NI number straight away, this helps you get paid if you get the job. So don't worry
