Is LSE boring?

I'm just wondering because I've applied to the LSE to do law. I've been to the LSE campus a lot because I go to Saturday sessions there and every time I'm there everybody seems to be a bit like zombies.

Also I had a lecture in one of my Saturday sessions on why people choose LSE and it was mostly because of things like prestige and reputation rather than the campus or student life.

Please help because I really want to go there but I don't want to end up regretting it because socially I will find it dull.

theres a thread about this already, search for it, the long and the short of it is you are in london so life can never be boring but you have to make it happen - of course if you sit in your room all day you will be bored but if you go out and make friends and parrty hard you will have a wild time....
urgh i agree with the above 2 posts. Im currently studying law there (1st year) and am loving it! Both academically and socially; you make lse what you want. if you're a geek and want to revise all day, then theres a library and your room for that. If you want to party all day and get drunk 24/7 there are numerous clubs and parties for you to do that. So whatever you want really, LSE can provide it!
Personally im sooo relieved and glad that ucl rejected me for law because hearing from my friend doing it there, she hates the course because they expect u to my have prior knowledge (even though they didnt say that). With lse everything is just..amazing! i cant describe it otherwise! im very very pleased and grateful. So to conclude, lse is what u make it. you're in london and to be frank, you dont get a much better location that there!!
Saturdays? It's not surprising that it's quiet. I haven't been to LSE on a Saturday in the whole time I've been there
Yea Zimstar, LSE is not dull. There are a lot of funny and active societies for you to join and the student life here is great.

If you will go in on a Saturday what do you expect? Everyone's likely to still be recovering from Crush... although of course you get a few weirdos in every bunch. I'm absolutely loving it here, just started my second year and I wouldn't trade it for the world.

Even the library is buzzing with more than 50 people on a saturday night. The people know how to party.
LSE is really fun. Plus I saw Naddles stumbling out of Crush last night (don't think he saw me); I was walking past. Being a mature postgrad I don't do Crush. But the postgrad party was INSANE.

Actually it is so interesting that I have hardly any time to study at all. There is something going on virtually every evening especially if you have joined societies. I can't imagine a better place to be than London and LSE. The only uni that can compare to LSE's events number is probably Manchester.

PS Ask Naddles about it. He tries very hard almost every evening to drag me to something going on at LSE.

The foam party? I heard it was overcrowded and people were smelly.

The Bang was over crowded, the foam party was just about manageable! At the bang I couldn't even get down the stairs, just too many people.
