It's because of the anti-foreigner mindset of British people. If you look different, talk different or act different, prepare yourself for negative discrimination. Not very much you can do about it. (If you talk like that in real life it won't help.)
post a picture of urself, im sure ur not bad at all, probably just what u say which is the problem
Just give it time and you'll soon fit in. It's only early days. In the meantime try getting involved with societies or clubs. University life can sometimes become hard and stressful especially with the workload and it takes time for everyone to adjust. Some people can fit in pretty much really quickly, however some, it can take up to weeks.

Hang in there, it will get better. Keep saying talking to people and start conversations with people in your tutorials. You'll have to get to know them anyway when you have to work in groups at Uni.

Do you really just want to pick up any girl?

Whats the big deal with having a girlfriend anyway?

Just go out, have fun and enjoy yourself, make friends, both male and female and see where it goes!

im taking it your from the USA, in that case i know lots of girls who dig american guys...

just chat to lots of girls (ul sooner or later see one that falls for u)
OK man, you need to pick yourself up, and realise that women are not the be-all and end all of life. Once you realise this, you can free yourself of your desperation... and actually interact with girls in a normal, fun, friendly way. You should introduce yourself to people you meet in your corridor and your halls, be friendly... not just to the hot girls, but to everyone.

Women do not like desperate guys - they like guys who are confident in themselves, are fun, friendly, and not afraid to say what they think from time to time.
This guy is DEFINITELY not from the USA. Lmao, he lies.

I'm black, Nigerian, and from the US...no lack of attention from British men whatsoever :p: Just be more flirtatious.

nah, it won't be because they don't like foreigners. personality, maybe, looks, probably. you just have to get talking to people. when they get to know you, they won't care if you're not attractive enough or an international student

Don't worry it'll come. I talk to everyone and make loads of friends too. I'm comfortable with anyone.

For some reason, not that many gal pals but who cares. I'm enjoying myself.

Brush up on your english for starters. No offence...

The person studies in the US, they're not from the US.

However, I do think a language barrier may be a problem, but also a lack of self confidence.

It's probably 'cos you say 'gals.' I don't like being referred to as a 'gal.' Meh. Gentlemen don't refer to ladies as GALS.

Yes you are a lady!

That's really not true, you know.
I belive that is rubbish when everyone is so PC nowadays

That means that people don't have an anti-foreigner mindset? I would say that strict adherence to political correctness promotes aggravation towards foreigners.
