If you dont know them well at all. And you are going on the date based on initial physical attraction.

i dont agree. if you dont no them that well its nice in a way to not have to worry about convo all the time. Maybe go for a drink or something after the film to have a bit more of a chat then atleast if you cant think of anything to talk about you can talk about the film!!

I agree that the cinema is a bad first date. You can barely chat...

Coffee FTW.
Cinema first dates are always doomed from the start, IMO, no matter how well you know them. if youre feeling awkward anyway, its best to just go for a drink somewhere, or something similar. Then you can get to know the other person better

Depends how you get along, how much you like them, and how much you fancy them.

And whether or not you're shy.

In your/her bed room.
You shouldn't feel obliged to kiss her. Equally you shouldn't feel like you shouldn't kiss her just because its the first date.

Here is exactly what happened-

I went to a party (during the day might I add) and it was in ths function room adjoined to the main bar. She was serving us, we werent really chatting at all (just occasionally catching each others eye and smiling). eventually I went up and got her number. I really fancy her and on first impressions she seems really nice. In fact its quite weird- I posted a thread here about a month or two ago saying I saw a girl I really fancied walk past me at work and she looked back as she passed, and that I wish I had spoken to her and Im pretty sure this was the same girl. Im gonna ask her out sometime tomorrow because i havnet got any credit at the mo. Any ideas where we should go?
