The ucas application form only has combinations of 2 subjects, how do you decide which 3rd one you choose?

It's very rare to choose to do 3 subjects at uni level. I would say choose your subjects according to order of interest, grades, how much time you have and money (if that's an issue)

At Glasgow you are admitted to a college rather than a particular course. For example, if you apply to study History and you're accepted, you'll be admitted to the College of Arts.

You confirm your subjects/modules when you enroll at the university in August (or you can delay this decision until you meet with your course advisor in september).

In short: it's not something you need worry about until you're actually attending the university. .
