Ok i just got a conditional offer from keele to do geology and international relations.
right now I'm wondering, is there a possibility that doing a joint degree will affect my employability in the future?
i like international relations because I do history alevel and enjoy learning about political figures and somewhat dream of working for the United Nations one day
on the other hand i have an interest in geology because I can apply geology to engineering and hopefully take part in large engineering products.
different topics, I know!
So, what do you think I should do? If I were to go to keele, shall I change it to a single degree, or keep it?
and does it affect my employability? I think every 18 year old is somewhat scared to do a degree and end up unemployed, so you can see why I'm worried.

thanks to everyone who helpes me

Hey, just giving this thread a bump :bump: Are you sure you’ve posted in the right place? Posting in the specific university or course forum should help you get more responses. :yy:

If you haven’t already found it, then university connect is a really useful way for finding people at your course/university! You can also find a list of applicant threads and courses here.
