    Hi,

How do you get work experience or an internship at law firms (magic circle ones in particular). Do you just email them or is there a special that one can use to apply through?

    Cheers

They offer various vacation schemes throughout the year which you can apply for through their websites.

Before you email you should have done your research to know what they're about and their schemes.

DLA Piper for example (not magic circle but aspires to be) have a summer experience scheme. It's that or nothing!

If you dare to lower your sight below magic circle, which you really should, smaller practices might allow you to spend time with them for a week or so if you just email them and are courteous and unambiguous.
