in a love situation but dnt know what to do?

well there is a girl at uni who i saw at the inductions, she belongs to the same deparment as me but not in any of my lectures or seminars, she was only in my induction clases and had a chat to her once and after that just see her walking around sometimes, i have also started like her but dnt know how to approach her, i am a newbie at these kind of things. i dnt see her alot of times maybe 2/3 times a week i will se her walking around in the uni, what ways can i go to her and have a chat with her.

Try saying Hi, how are you settling in? How are you finding uni? How is your course? etc etc etc

If you see her on a night out at the union then talk to her its a lot easier wen its a chilled out atmosphere and everyones out to have fun.

Maybe if you see her stopped anywhere, just subtly stop just near her and pretend it was a conicidence, act surprised and say "Oh, hi there! How are you...etc" or if she's looking lost or something offer her some help?

It's easy..I keep randomly going and talking to lots of people by going "Hi, my name's Kate, aren't you in my department/seminar/lecture on monday?". Everyone is getting to know people and trying to make friends so it's not weird to just start up a conversation. I'm always happy to meet other friendly people and I'm sure this girl would be too.

If you're too scared then you could always organise a night out for a bunch of people from your department and then invite her along.
