Let's rewrite this poem together, TSR style... I have begun:

'Twas the first of December, and on TSR
A new user was lurking, with a new avatar
Outside UK was his profile location
No details forthcoming about his education...

Ho ho ho

I was really hoping there wouldn't be any loins this time....

Well, I do love a bit of loin stirring.

We fell about laughing as we read the troll posts,
Knowing the words came from within our own coasts,
There were innuendos and insults galore,
But we couldn't help wanting the new user to post more.

Is this okay? Not done it before.
Haha that totally fits in the rhyme.

the UK was in bed, asleep with a snore
except those in Chat saying 'one post more'
so the new user started up his first thread
saying "I'm a ghost, on the net of the dead"

When out on the town i purchased a bad curry
I sprang from the bed in one hell of a hurry
Away to the window i flew like a flash
Tore open the shutters and threw up BIG SPLASH

Admiring the breasts of the new office girl
I said "you are new here", she said "i am Shirl"
As my eyes wandered over her prominent rear
She said "i'm a lesbian... sorry my dear"

They couldn't help but hit refresh and refresh,
But alas, alack, it seemed the end had come to this sesh.
The troll had had his fun and sadly departed,
And all that was left was the ghost thread he had started.

A troll, a troll, for that was what they called him
But deep inside they knew the truth behind was grim
The tons of active users the site had always flaunted
Were now scared to post, because TSR was haunted

Were now scared to post, because TSR was haunted
Yet some were addicted, and lurked in their fright
roaming the forums in the deep of the night.
One dropped some pos rep, desiring to appease,
but failed in her mission - "recommend others, please!"

but failed in her mission - "recommend others, please!"
Then came our strong and fearless moderators,
Kicking ass and posting enticing ice breakers.
The threads were new and many in number,
Yet still the average users did not wake from their slumber.

First two lines have to be eeked out in pronunciation but it gets the point across

So the CTs posted contests - "Win a thousand quid a day!
Just add a million comments, in order to play!"
Which gained some attention, of that there's no doubt,
but even the bravest gave up and dropped out.

Loving your verse!

Then one lone typist logged on in the morning,
Bringing with her a hysterical yarn which got them all fawning.
Soon everyone was posting for her to write more,
And before she knew it - she had opened the door.

HO HO HO Father Christmas had arrived.
"Is that really you Santa?" They all had cried.
Yes my dears, you are such well behaved folk.
But no mince pies for me this Christmas Eve I'd prefer a soft boiled egg with a runny yolk.

But the kids didn't care for naughty or nice
All the folk trolled him without thinking twice
"HO HO HO? Don't you want presents from Santa?"
But smirking they laughed, "can't you take the banter?"

"Now riku! now, FoS! now, MM and Dunc1!
"On, Cambio! On, ISA! on, Precious and Birken!
"To the top of the page! to the top of the site!
"Now troll away! Troll away! Troll through the night!"

The Mods dealt out cards; they were sprinkled with glitter.
Pretty as they were, the trolls still felt bitter.
They cornered poor Santa, and cried out, "YOLO!"
So is this the last time we've heard Ho Ho Ho?
