What board is it? I can only really help with CCEA, but I know a bit about AQA

i'd definitely recommend it. the AQA exam is lovely, you have a lot of freedom and it requires minimal revision. i'm assuming it's still about the great war?

Great thanks, I really want to do it but I'm afraid I won't enjoy it as I'm having many mixed reviews :/ you've been a lot of help thanks again.

Only do it if you really like literature. I did AQA AS last year and ended up hating it by Christmas. Big exam with quite a lot of flexibility (but it's hard, like 49/84 is an A!)

I'm doing AQA AS English Literature at the moment, on the theme of WW1. We doing one piece of coursework on Birdsong by Sebastian Faulks and another piece of coursework about Journey's End and Blackadder Goes Forth. It is difficult, and I would only recommend you take it if it is something you really enjoy, you don't mind reading and writing a lot etc.
