I am currently thinking of taking a gap year after oxfords rejection and reapply next year (if Imperial passes me a rejection too ). I think that I should doing something to strengthen my application next year but I have no idea where to look. Any advice would be great, thanks.

Things that might be useful
I am applying for Mathematics and Computer Science, currently doing Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Computing. AS Grades: AAAA and A2 Predictions A*AA*A (respectively).

I'm hoping for anything from doing research or something that could really wow the admission tutors. But again I have no idea where to start.
