Missing certificates and graduate jobs

I was about to send off some graduate job applications when I decided to double check my GCSE's and to my horror, I cannot find either the certificates or the transcript.

Now I know the grades I got exactly, I'm just not sure which subjects are which.

So should I just:

send off the applications and risk being accused of lying (and what other consequences there may be).

delay sending off my applications and request replacements which will take around 2 months to receive (or hope I find them when I turn my room upside down).

I wouldn't have thought a graduate employer would be too concerned about your GCSEs to be honest, if you have A level and a degree certificates you can prove your academic ability, plus it may well take over 2 months to be asked for them anyway

I've never had any employer ever ask to see any of my certificates.

Whilst I hope this wouldn't apply to me; this tends to be the reason the wrong person is often given the job.
