Hi, I have this assignment on my Marketing research module and the topic I chose initially isn't getting me anywhere so I'm starting new. The financial sector isn't what I'm interested in at all, so my knowledge on the current affairs is pretty much minimal. Any ideas on what I should write about?

The assignment is:

Identify a corporate situation in an existing financial service company in the UK that could disturb you as a manager. Evaluate the situation and use marketing research methodologies to find solutions to the problems faced by you. Prepare a report that will explain and guide top management to benefit from the solutions in terms of company growth.
