What shall I do?? (Wish I could have a more inventive title, but I dont)

I recently met this guy. I have only spent a few hours with him at some do, thats how I met him. Thing is, I doubt I shall see him again if everything is left alone, which might be good or might be bad.
I wouldnt say I have a crush on him, but he did seem a cool guy, admitedly he may have been slightly drunk.
So, this guy is a friends friend, so I could easily ask him for his email (if he has one) but it might sound odd.
So anyway, it comes down to, do I find out his email? And will he likley be surprised? And as he may have been slightly drunk, would this matter also?
Basically I think I have just done a very good job of making no sense what so ever. If none of that makes sense I guess the main question is:
Should I even ask for his email (and how?) and should I contact him?
It is really as friends, as he was cool, and it would be a shame to let someone pass by.

Yeah ask him for his email - or ask your mutual friend for his email, and surprise him by saying 'Hey, remember me? Hope you had a good time the other night.' or something to that effect. Get to know him a bit more - like you say, he could just turn out to be a really cool friend :smile:

Yeh, the fact you're considering shows that you should. If you've only met him once you've got nothing to lose. Go for it! At least you can say you've tried! xxx

It's about getting someones e-mail address and whether you should because your justification is you think that he's ''cool''. How complicated can it be?
