I rather badly miscalculated my budget this term and am about to go into my overdraft.
Just wondering how it works? Are there any hidden fees, despite being 0%? Will I be able to wait until my next loan comes through? Can I take the money out of a cash point, or do I need to go to the bank?

I shouldn't have to use more than £100 of it, but just want to be sure.
Any advice greatly appreciated!

Most student bank accounts have 0% overdrafts. Check your limit. You can use your card online, in shops, at cash machines and in branch - it doesn't change anything the fact that you're using your overdraft. It will just start going in the minus - just make sure not to go above the agreed overdraft limit )

Also look into Santander T & Cs to see when the interest free period ends.
