PVM = DRT
101KPA is approx = to 1 atm
273K is 0 degrees celcius => we have STP (standard temp and pressure)
volume of 1 mole of any gas measured at STP is 22.4dm3
(1.00)(22.4)(32)= (D)(0.0820)(273)
I think... let someone check it.. im not sure..

What is the density of oxygen (mr 32) in gdm-3, measured at 101KPA and 273K?

I'm having a lot of trouble with this question, purely because there are 2 unknowns (volume and number of moles)

Any suggestions?

At STP 1 mole of all gases occupy 22.41 dm3

Mass of 1 mole of oxygen = 32g

Density = mass/volume

Density of oxygen = 32/22.41 g/dm3

or if you want it in SI units = 0.032/0.02241 = 1.43 kg/m3
