Hi, I just wondered if anyone knew of anyone or themselves who completed an apprenticeship to then completely change careers.

I am in my final year of a manufacturing engineering apprenticeship and completing a HNC. My problem is my apprenticeship has shown me that I'd rather not be a production engineer. At school I always got top marks in ICT and completed A level in this and what I always thought I was going to do (work in computing). I just chose this apprenticeship because basically I got offered it straight away after the end of 6th form and didn't think about anything else.
