Never give money. If they're homeless, they will (or should) appreciate a hot drink and food over money. But naturally, you get those that only want money to buy alcohol and/or drugs.

[Edit] You can also 'Add 1 On' in a lot of food places like McDonalds, Greggs and even some Starbucks, so homeless can come in and ask if they have any pre-paid drinks or food.

Yeah I agree, which is why I either want to
1) Give them food directly
2) Give money to their shelters (so they can provide them better care)

Haha, my bad. I was too eager to reply xDD

Hmm... That sounds expensive... Personally, if I were to feed them, I'd try to produce meals that are low in cost and very healthy.

So instead of a coffee at starbucks for £30000, I could buy my own loaf of bread etc. and hand out sandwiches and fruit~ Or would they give me discounts if I pay for the homeless?

I'm not sure if they would discount anything - you could ask, though

I prefer buying food and essentials for the homeless shelter rather than giving these shelters money.
