Hey,
I'm writing my personal statement after finally deciding that I want to study maths at university. I also want to study abroad for a year though as I really enjoy travelling. Do I reference studying abroad and how I enjoy travel in detail in my personal statement or is it not something you put in your statement?
Thanks
Dave.

Generally you need to apply for the studying abroad opportunities separately, so I would just focus on the maths and then when you apply later on you can talk about how it will benefit you (and whatever else they ask for)
