I'm thinking of leaving univeristy, but I'm still undecided, I know it's probably best to speak to my university directly about this, but I was wondering if anyone had been in a similar situation..
The end of the first term is on the 12th December.. So this is classed as term one? If I left then would I owe 25% of fee money and whatever they gave me more maintance loan etc?
But I'm thinking of staying until after christmas so I can really have a think about it over the christmas break, I feel that then I'd most likely make the right decision and not have anyone influence me either way.. But if I was to leave on the first day back (12th January) would I have to pay the second term fees?

Your loans and grants fund you over the holidays, so pro rata they will be called in.

Balotelli has it right. Probably best to take time over Xmas to decide, then tell the uni you're leaving just before the start of next term - and before your next SF money arrives (as you'd only be expected to give it straight back, it cuts down on the admin).
