1. Find the equation of the plane which passes through the point (1, 2, 3) and contains the lines of intersection of the planes 2x-y+z=4 and x+y+z=4.

find the line of intersection of the two planes

pick any two sensible points on this line by inspection, say A and B

Find vector CA and CB, where C(1,2,3)

cross CA and CB to find normal to the required plane.

Use any of the three points and normal to find plane
