I was wondering if an argument began between two students, Richard and Moses. And Richard felt provoked by Moses, picking up his bag and threw it at Moses, intending to cause him serious harm. And then Moses ducked and the bag hit Coban, another student, on his head. Coban then fell and hit his head, rendering him unconscious. Richard ran away in a panic.

What could Richard's potential criminal liability be?
Any cases that I could look at would be nice (to help understand this topic).

    Thank you all.

subject of provocation, transferred intent, proximate cause, intervening cause and the mens rea for various crimes.
What's the best type of cheese?
