I was wondering if you guys had any tips for revision and exam technique. I'm studying medicine, first year at the moment and am at a bit of a loss ain terms of study technique and such because everything is still relatively new to me. Something I've realised about myself is that I never ever achieve as highly as I think I work, and many people who work much less than I do seem to do a lot better. This seems to have followed me into University and I find it so embarrassing because teachers from school and now friends alike seem to comment and say that I work so hard but I surprise them but how badly I sometimes do. I wish I could be more efficient and actually reap the rewards of working so hard but I don't even know where to start. Another thing is that I make a LOT of silly mistakes, and whenever I read questions back I seem to always think 'yeah, I knew that!!'. I'm exhausted and sick of feeling this way. I will burn out in 6 years if I continue to work hard and do mediocrely. Need to sort myself out as soon as possible. any help would be welcome guyssss!!!
really need your help guys!! :D watch

Are these essays or questions that have a definite answer? (like math, 1+1 will always be 2 etc)

After reading your discussion, I realized that you are confused how to study and get good marks.
It's really a serious problem, and you have to solve it as soon as possible, though you can get good marks.
Here are some of the tips that I would like to share regarding this such as make sure that your base is clear on that particular subject. If it is not, then you should clear it, otherwise you may face problem till the end. So it is really essential to solve it quickly.
Google is one of the finest resource to get things where you get one thing in a multiple way along with the structure. If you get things in a structured format, then I am sure you will never get forget things quite easily.
