The Student Room Group

just a question

well in my lessons i have a feeling my teacher thinks i fancy him cos well i have a hearing problem which means i have to look at the teaher to know what he is saying. he doesnt know i am deaf however, but i can understand him just fine if i look at him. he gives me funny looks when he sees me looking at him as no one else is looking, just working and making notes, i look and make notes.. everyone just makes notes without looking up.

another teacher who is female i think shes uncomfortable with me looking at her while she is talking. when she is talking to the class, and sees me looking at her, she stutters or gets really nervous and stares at me. i dunno but shouldnt they want the students to look at them cos obviously it shows they are listening?
Ummm... tell them you have a hearing problem?

i have no problems hearing them, but i have to look up to hear them. i would feel a bit odd after abt a month of studying saying- 'btw miss/sir i have a hearing problem.'
Yes. Tell them you have hearing problem. Is nothing to be ashamed about.

Your hearing is causing you a problem. It's a hearing problem. Don't argue with me, I know best.
