I think this should be pretty easy but I keep getting myself confused! Can anyone help? I'd appreciate showing your working please!

2^(x+1) = 3^x

2^(x+1) = 3^x [Take natural logs of each side]
ln2(x+1) = ln3x
xln2 + ln2 = ln3x
x(ln2 - ln3) = -ln2
x = -ln2 / (ln2 - ln3) = 1.71 (3 sf)
