Why do I act like this with you?!

I like this guy, he's a quiet, clever and really friendly lad. He's in my class and we only talked a few times in experiments and when I managed to talk to him (took guts though)...BUT I'm dead shy around him and he's shy around me. Everytime, I talk to him, I laugh nervously, act reallllyy nice like 'Thank you' and 'please can you help me with this...etc'... I feel so weird around him.

I cannot talk to him properly without making a BIG fool of myself and then over analysing whether he likes me or not :frown: ARGHHHH I just wanted to let it out. ALSO I ignore him at times and acts as if I don't like him... I feel so stupid.

To all you lads, how would you feel if a girl went up to you randomly and started a conversation... or maybe asked if you wanted to go for lunch with her?

AND... WHY DO lads not do anything about girls?! It's mostly girls that actually do all the work like taking guts to talk to the person...

Id say yes if someone asked me to lunch .

Dont ignore him either you never know he might be interpreting everything you do to see whether you like him. Ignoring someone does not compute as liking someone.

Whats the worst that can happen ?

Depends how hot she was. I would always, always be flattered, and there's a near 100% chance I'd go to lunch with her if I liked her personality, purely to make a new friend. If I was physically attracted to her as well, that would be superb.

Men are lazy, quite honestly. I freely admit that.

I'm gonna try and talk to him tommorrow, if it's a good timing cos I think it's embarressing going up to him with his friends around.

Well ok, I'll ask him for lunch tommorrow... it'll take guts cos I'm so shy around him and act really daft. I don't know whether to ask for his email addy or mob number if we don't talk much...

Would you guys feel appreciated if a girl asked for ur number? I would you think ' STALLLKKKERRRRR'...

Appreciated. That's not stalkerish in the slightest. I wouldn't necessarily be that keen on giving it out if I didn't fancy her, or I didn't know she only wanted it in a platonic way (if me not fancying her was the case).

Would you go out with her for lunch if it was... erm at a fish and chip shop :p: ? The other shops just sell sandwiches and stuffs...

Ah well I might ask him if he like to go for a walk in the park whilst having lunch... if it's a really nice day!

If I wasn't a vegetarian and it was during a bulking cycle, then sure!
