Need help on a research assignment watch

    • Thread Starter

I have a research assignment in which i'm meant to find journals that will support my writing of my essay based on the inquests into the Hillsborough disaster.

The essay question that we have been given is: "Consider how the privilege against self-incrimination has developed in English law in the context of Article 6 of the European Convention on Human Rights.
Critically assess how this principle affects the conduct of proceedings at inquests. You may reflect on the current Hillsborough inquest where it is appropriate to do so. You should also consider the purpose of inquests, compared to the purposes of other types of legal proceeding, when discussing the application of the privilege against self-incrimination."

I was wandering if anyone had any help they could give me into breaking down the question? and finding journals that look at an aspect of the question as i have no idea what i'm doing for it.

Any help that anyone could give would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
