Last year whilst at uni I got a job over the 3rd term, as I already had a job at home I was taxed, something called PAYE tax?

I was just wondering if anyone had any information on how to claim this back? Just as it's quite a lump sum so would be useful with me being a poor student!

Thanks!

You can ring up HMRC and ask them to split your tax code across the two jobs (although you won't get anything you've already paid back immediately, but it will prevent you paying more)

You will get any excess tax back at the end of the tax year - so if you've earned less than £10000 in total, you'll get back all the income tax you've paid.
