Enough for sixth form?

You usually need 5 GCSEs A*-C to be allowed to do A levels but different sixth forms have different entry requirements.

If it's for university then yes but you'll need good results.

Enough for what? As long as you get 5A*-C in your GCSEs including English and Maths you should be fine with good sets of A levels too with regards to applying to uni or doing an apprenteship.

With a merit at least in your BTEC you will be fine providing you get good results.
