After being left in a rubbish position by some of my flatmates, I found myself needing to look for somewhere to live in second year by myself. I found an advert for a spare room in a student house with a group of people who seem so lovely. I've accepted the room, but I'm a little worried - just because all the others obviously know each other and are friends, whereas I'm coming in as an outsider. Also, I wouldn't call myself shy, but I'm also not loud/confident - so I'm a bit worried about if I'll make proper friends with them. Has anyone else been in a situation like this? What are your experiences?

Thanks!
