Is there anything I should know about these TV's before I purchase one?

Will I be able to connect it to my Xbox One and Bluray player hassle free with normal HDMI cables or do I need special cables and or adapters?

Also what sort of thing should I be looking for when buying one like processing rate etc?all the lingo is confusing to me.

Existing HDMI cables are fine, the main issue is if you are buying a soundbar at the same time, the soundbar might be HDMI(ARC) so make sure your TV has a HDMI(ARC) port.

For a 4k TV at bare minimum you should be looking for one that can do 1000Hz.

One thing for sure, it will make sense to buy a TV with an updated sound system as many of these 4K thin panels have very crap speakers that will disappoint.

Yeah, they're expensive for what they are and there's very little content for them.

    Wait 18 months.

What you should know before buying one is not to buy one (at least not yet)
