    hello everyone! I would be very grateful if anyone could kindly help me with the following question.

    I get q as a negative probability => something is definitely wrong. Could anyone please let me know where have I gone wrong?

    your quadratic does not follow from the Var line some arithmetic errors!

    Thank you for detecting that error! I was in such a hurry that I left out the +5q !

    I apologise for taking your time!

    EDIT : I now have q = 0.23147186257614 which makes sense (although I am not sure if its actually correct).
