I have a HP computer and my Office trial ran out. I cant complete my college work so I have uninstalled all of my Office programs including Powerpoint and Word.

Do I have to buy another full package or can I get Microsoft Office for free?

Also, I cant upload one of my college work because it is ".pptx", and some Office Powerpoint programs cant open it.

Can you please let me know which Microsoft Office will be best for me and can open ".pptx" files?

Legally, you'll have to go buy MS Office. You could try Open Office, see if you like that?

I use Kingsoft Office, which opens my .docx files well, so I would assume it does the same for pptx
