Work experience

Hii,
I am currently in year 12 and would like to study medicine at University but i dont have any work experience at a hospital!! i know that there are lots of medicine students on the student room so you guys please suggest places/ contacts that i could contact for WE during the summer.

P.S. i have already sent letter to consultants but most of them didn't reply

Hi, have you tried contacting your local hospital for work experience. When I was looking for work experience because I wanted to study nursing, I contacted the volunteer managers at my local hospital and they organised the work experience for me.
If not you could just type in on Google search 'work experience for medicine in(your local area)'
Or try a website called 'Do IT' it is useful for finding voluntary work in different sectors depending on your interests.
