Exams on Birthdays

Today I am doing my History Course Essay @ 2pm and today is also my birthday....! A friend of mine has two exams on her birthday aswell. Do you belive if this happens, that you'll have good luck on this particular day....?

Yeah - my birthday was two Fridays ago, and I had a three-hour exam on it - though fortunately not one that counted. From my mark, I wouldn't say it gave me luck...

That's a raw deal havin an exam on your birthday. I'm lucky, my birthday always falls on the last day of winter term at school and at college. Usually a half day too, so it ain't too bad.

Because my birthday is at the end of May, every year since GCSE's i've had to spend the day studying for exams!! Talking about exams coinciding with important events....i had to sit an exam during the England vs Argentina match a couple of years ago!! It was fairly obvious from the singing on the streets that we had won....and i was sitting there writing an exam!

My best friend had two prelims (mocks) on his birthday, which was also April fool's day, so he kept hoping that it was just a joke and he wouldn't have to sit them :biggrin:

I had my GCSE Physics exam on the England Vs Brazil match when we lost our chance for the world cup! Talk about a depressing day :mad:

luckily my birthday isnt till july! so i just finish all my exams thankgod...

My French oral exam is on the last day of sixth form (muck-up day) :frown:

So I'll miss fancy dress, the bouncy castle, pranks, water guns etc, as well as being late to meet everyone else at the pub. School breaks up at 10.30am-My exam won't be over til midday-ish. At least I don't havoe other language oral and science pracs that week too......

How depressing.

I always have exams on my birthday (June 7th) although on my 18th, it was technically in half term, because of the Golden Jubilee, and it was the day we beat Argentina!

This year I've got my steeplechase on it.

For GCSEs I had Maths and French, and got A* for both, and for AS levels I had M1, and got 100%, so I was pretty chuffed, but don't think it was just cos it was my birthday!

Last year, i had my B-Day on wednesday (i think), and had an exam every other day that week!
But i've always avoided having exams on my birthday somehow, although it is a prime time for them (4th June).

I don't think that I have had any exams on my birthday, as it's pretty early in May, and I haven't had any early exams. Probably earliest wouldhave been the french oral exams, but they were mid-may.

It hard to enjoy your Bday when u know u should be studying in the back of your mind...its been going to the last 3 yrs..i suppose another 4 wont hurt :frown:

Yup! I got 100% in the exam on my birthday (and in the other English ones, but I like top pretend it was birthday luck). I was also on the radio on my birthday BECAUSE I had an exam on my birthday :biggrin:

my bf has computing exams on his 18th, he doesn't seem to appreciate my *well i have the day off* comments when he mentions it, but i have 3 exams the following day, so i can't even go get drunk with him when he's finished his exams *thinks everyone should get a bank holiday for their 18th like i did*
