Personally I think I'm applying for Richmond as my first choice and then putting Sheavyn House as my back up thing, Richmond just seems a bit fuller.

Hey there!
I currently live in Richmond Park and I really recommend it for being one of the nicer self catered and en suite accommodation options available (though I haven't really seen any of the other options)!
In terms of social life, Richmond is a little quieter than, say, Owens Park, which could be nicer if you want the option of having nights in as well as nights out. Unlike some of the other halls, we don't have common rooms, which can make it hard to get together for pre drinks because we use the kitchen to host parties. However, the Fallowfield bars (Squirrels and Owens Park) are pretty close and cheap, so they're an option!

Hope this helped, and if you have any other questions about Richmond I'd be happy to help!

Stay very, very far away from Oak House. Sheavyn's great - nice rooms, good bathrooms, library access, not ****.

Richmond is equally good but is too far out of the way for me. Sheavyn is much more central to campus and is closer to the **** places like Owens' or Oak where you'll undoubtedly have some friends. Still, it's not so close that you can hear people chundering on Tuesday morning because they don't have to be in uni except every other Thursday.

I'm deciding between these three as well definitely want self-catered/ensuite with a decently sized flat :/ I wanted somewhere social with normal people and where we'd go out quite a lot but also somewhere i can still get work done when i need to? i was thinking Richmond and Sheavyn for my first two but dont know which one to put top?

Oak House is the best for socialising and parties, but also the worst for quality of sleep if that is important to you!

Richmond Park and Sheavyn House are more sedated, but still sociable places like all of the Fallowfield halls.
