How important is your level of education, income and social class in determining your health?

Which comes first: poor mental health or poor physical health?

What are the main causes of death in the UK and where would you find data on mortality?

Why do fewer children survive beyond their 5th birthday in the United States compared with Malaysia despite large differences in GDP per capita?

The new BSc in Population Health in the UCL Institute of Epidemiology and Health Care is the first of its kind in the UK.

The programme focuses on applied skills required to understand research designs in health, analyse health datasets and evaluate existing health theory and research.
You will also learn more about geographical and global health inequalities, and have the opportunity to explore key research questions in the area of Public Health.

The qualifications accepted for entry onto the degree include A-Levels, BTEC and the Access to Higher Education Diploma.
