I know it calms you down and feels good, but does it have any effects known? Wondering for my mate as he sniffs it sometimes to make him sleepy.

As long as you don't drink it or chuck it in your eyes you'll be fine.

It depends what you mean by "sniffing" If you've sprayed a lot in a room and then sniffed it in that room, you'd be fine, if you're sniffing it from an enclosed bag or similar as if you were sniffing glue, the effects would be the same as solvent abuse, including the risk of death.

Ummm.......that is substance abuse.

Aftershaves contain ethyl alcohol, isopropyl alcohol or benzyl alcohol.

Inhalation or ingestion can lead to:

severe headaches, low blood pressure, low blood-sugar levels, oxygen deprivation and potential brain damage, coma, long term damage of the lungs leading to pneumonia or emphysema.

Psychological effects include mood swings, nervousness, anxiety, depression and dependence.

Its substance abuse, the fact that he's getting short term affects shows thatit is doing something, and its not worth the risk
