what do you think? a good idea or not?

things happened between me and a teacher, he found out i liked him, he seemed ok with it but things are a bit awkward between us. last week he said hello to me, smiled at me, i say hello etc and then he kept staring. and now im sure hes avoiding me now he was looking my way, then when i saw him he saw me and walked into his classroom. i was going to say hello to him but u no..
theres a bit of tension between us
i was confused, i dont have a crush on him but i do think a lot of him, i look up to him a lot, have a lot of respect for him.
so i wanted to have a word with him and was wondering what you thought

'hi sir can i have a word with you- em it may be just me but i think i can sense some tension between us and i wanted to apoligise for what ive done. the reason i did *this and that* was because i look up to u and have a lot of respect for you. i admire you and uve inspired me to be a teacher in your subject. i dont have a crush on you, but i do think a lot of you. are you ok with me?'

sorry if its immature, but i do need to say something to him, any suggestions of how to improve it and whatnot? just thought id try to clear the air
he does know. trust me
Then don't say you're speech until he instigates the problem. Start it off by something like 'Hey sir, i'm a bit worried because i think the tension between us is affecting how i am in class and i don't want any akwardness to jepordise my work' etc. or something like that, an open ended statement that will make him raise the issue and not leave you making him uncomfortable by saying it all at once...how old are you and him btw? x
he doesnt teach me anymore, im in the 6th form and hes 40 something

Say nothing and continue as you were. That'd just make him feel really awkward and if it's news to him when you tell him the cat will be well and truly out of the bag.

Are you the same person who posted all those threads about wanting to tell this teacher about how you admired him??

Personally I would leave it well alone. You're only going to make things worse, and if he's not your teacher anymore I dont see the point.
