Hubba Bubba (bubble gum)

Do they still make this stuff, specifically the Strawberry favoured variety?

I remember it from being young and tasting delightfully sweet and artificial. I can imagine it being banned now, and I haven't seen it anywhere for what seems like years.

They make them- with all new flavours. Only thing is that now they lose taste after like 5 minutes. I remember when you could chew on them for hours. Or is that an idyllic view of childhood and was never the case....

Possibly the increased chewing potential of your teeth?

Just remembered that there was one favour, Atomic Apple or something like that, that was completely brilliant in its sourness. Unfortunately I imagine it'll have lost its impact, I just can't taste sourness in the way I could. Bloody age.

Whenever I eat atomic apple hubba bubba, I end up swallowing it. I don't know if it's the really nice taste or the soft texture. Probably a combination of the two :biggrin:
