Cambridge - it's a really nice place. I live fairly close and love going there to shop. Plus there's this small corner street cafe place that sells delicious cinnamon swirls

Students don't enjoy the night-life? Can tell you don't attend.

One of my best friend goes and as he described the social life is ''dissapointing'' at the least.

I prefer Cambridge, maybe that is because I have spent a lot of time there.

Depends on what you're used to. If someone's used to the nightlife in a big city, then yes it would be disappointing. If someone goes out just to have some fun with friends, then it isn't really and there's more than enough to do in Oxford. There's also a ridiculous number of bops and other college related parties that most people enjoy more than the nightlife Oxford has to offer. Also, in case you didn't work it out, the other person said "Can tell you don't attend" because you clearly don't realise how many students actually go out practically every night while in term.

Sure, but my point is considering how small Oxford is, it does much better than you'd expect on the nightlife front.

Yes.

Yes.
I think all unis in the same size region as Oxford would be fairly equal in terms of nightlife.

But what do you think of the SU? Its always rated last. Ignore the college system for this question

The Student Union? I don't have an opinion on it. How do you mean rated last?
