khanacademy.org

invaluable, the best site for education on the net
video tutorials, all free , concise, user friendly, easy to understand, and not patronising.
simplifies even the hardest concepts.
I didn't see this site on the list and it is brilliant - got me through my AS chemistry like a tunnel gets Mexicans through the border.

Probably some overlap with websites already posted, but thought I'd share this list I have:

http://www.edexcel.com/quals/gce/gce08/chemistry/Pages/default.aspx Contains the specification, past papers and examiners reports (although you may not be able to download all of these)
www.chemguide.co.uk/
Excellent revision notes
www.knockhardy.org.uk/sci.htm
Excellent powerpoints and detailed notes.
http://www.ylearn.co.uk
There is a list of topics in the chemistry base for this site.
http://www.bestchoice.net.nz/
Online learning. Work your way through the topics. Some have more and/or better questions than others, but a very useful site. Make sure you select A level edexcel.
http://www.drbateman.net/newasa2topics/as2009sums.htm
Relatively basic revision notes for the current course.
http://www.rod.beavon.clara.net/index.htm
Written by an examiner.Good section on exam techniques. Other parts will stretch your knowledge beyond the specification
www.wikipedia.com
Individual pages can be very useful.
www.mp-docker.demon.co.uk/as_a2/index_edexcel.html
Online quizzes, but for the old course, so may not be completely relevant anymore. You will have to know your chemistry to complete all of these!
www.s-cool.co.uk/topic_index.asp?subject_id=7&d=0
Relatively basic revision notes
http://chemmovies.unl.edu/ChemAnime/index.htm
Excellent animations, especially orbitals and forces
www.csub.edu/Chemistry/nom/nomenclature.html
2.2 How to name organic compounds
www.csub.edu/Chemistry/331/funct.html
2.2 Important organic functional groups

RSC sponsored site - lots of powerpoints and worksheets. There is a version of this our intranet, but the website may be updated

Yep buddy, these resources are damn hardcore, thanks for that. Keep posting. Thanks man.
For pre-undergraduate students who want a little more stretch than the UK A-Levels offer, I'd recommend this website: http://www.askiitians.com/iit-study-material/iit-jee-chemistry/. It covers a great deal of material in a comparatively advanced manner, and I'd recommend also doing some of the papers of the IIT-JEE and learning how to solve "problems" rather than standard routine plugging in of numbers through the website. The problems asked are of a similar type to those found in the International Chemistry Olympiad, though somewhat less difficult.
