Go to your doctor and they will cut them off, or cut them off yourself but be warned they bleed alot

The best way to do it is to take some thread and tie it tightly around the skin tag, to stop the blood flow to it. Then cut it off with a sharp pair of scissors and apply pressure to help the blood clot afterwards.
Any more problems, please feel free to pm Dr LePinkPanther.

DIY removal seems a bit scary to me

I thouht I would be freaked out by DIY aswell but, rather disgustingly I suppose, I have actually just picked two skin tags off before and it works fine. Doesn't hurt much. Generally I'd just pick some of it off and do it again etc.
I've heard though that, if it in't on your face or somewhere obvious, you can just tie tooth floss or whatever really tightly around it and leave it there. After a few days (because there's no blood flow) it'll jsut fall off!
i had one when i was about 15 at the top of my inner thigh. It freaked me out something rotten! I had no idea what it was but i just took a pair of scissors to it and loped it off. It freaked me out even more because it wouldnt stop bleeding for about 2hours!!! Glad i did it tho, it was horrible

I think I had one on my arm...it just disappeared though, a few years ago. My brother had his cut off though. Go to the doctors and see.

I keep accidentally taking the tops off the one i have on my underarm with my razor... that hurts. But to be honest, I can't be bothered with mine. I've got two, the one in my arm pit (which is tiny) and another little one on my neck. If they ever got in the way, I'd go to the doctors.

Im sure i had one when i was younger on my arm or something and i seem to remember going and having it removed at the docs.

I still have one and i'd thought about tying something around it but im not too sure, and i guess it makes me a little more unique. Its not like anyone can see it.

Catch it on a particularly rough piece of clothing, tear it off. At least...that's how I got rid of the one on the back of my neck  And as Smile04 said, it bleeds a lot. Ruined one of my old white Scotland rugby shirts too...
I had a small one under my arm about 3 years ago. I cut off the blood supply with some cotton and it dried up and i just pulled it off. I've got a tiny mole where it was now.

They're those really, really tiny little moles that stick up, right? Like the size of a pin head, but taller?
